Auto-Maskin has completed the delivery of a tailored emergency power management system for Avinor’s Oslo Air Traffic Control Center in Røyken.

Avinor is responsible for planning, developing and operating the Norwegian airport network, and owns and operates 46 airports, including all the major airports. Avinor is also the Air Navigation Service provider in Norway, responsible for Air Traffic Control Services, including control centers, control towers and Communication Navigation and Surveillance.

The management of electrical supplies during outages of the main grid is critical for Oslo Air Traffic Control Center, responsible for the air control and safety for the air space and airports around the Norwegian capital Oslo. Auto-Maskin’s Industry Department has a proven delivery record of providing tailored and safety focused solutions, and has deliver a turn-key solution well suited to Avinor’s needs.
